Hi I’m Jason but everyone calls me J and I absolutely love photography, especially when it comes to capturing one of the most amazing days ever, your wedding day. My style and approach is very relaxed and unobtrusive. Although I am a professional wedding photographer, I’d rather you feel that you’re inviting an old friend to your wedding who just happens to have a really nice camera. Every wedding I capture is unique. So for me it’s all about getting to know each other and going on the journey together. By the end of which you’ll have stunning photographs that will tell the story of your day forever. So please enjoy having a look at my work and when you’re ready, please just drop me a line or give me a call and we can arrange to meet up to have a good chat all about how you would like your big day to be captured.
Many thanks, speak soon
(Thank you to my beautiful daughter Lily for capturing the above photo – not bad for a 3 year old)
Born in Blackburn, UK, J started his career in 1987 as a Royal Marine Commando. This is when he completed his first photography course. After the Royal Marines he decided to travel the world leaving for Canada in 94’. He spent a winter up in the Arctic living with the Inuits before working as a White Water Rafting Guide on the mighty Ottawa River. His love for the river took him to the Himalayas, leading expeditions down some of the wildest rivers in the world. In the late 90’s after traveling all around Asia and Australia he returned home and completed his Bachelor’s degree. During this time, J’s passion for photography took hold and Jason Howard Photography was born. Although J’s work is diverse; from his Landscapes which enable you to enjoy his journeys, to portraits, celebrity and corporate events. However, it’s his love of capturing weddings that brings out J’s real flare. With his relaxed, natural and unobtrusive style, along with a personal and individual approach, you’re left simply with stunning photography that will keep your wedding story alive forever.
