The DoubleTree is a wonderfully versatile Chester wedding venue — the characterful manor house, the light-filled conservatory and the secluded walled gardens give us a real mix of backdrops without ever straying far from the celebration.
I photograph days here in my usual natural, unobtrusive way — real moments as they happen, plus a short, relaxed portrait session in the gardens when the light is at its best. Being just across the city in Farndon, I know the venue well and always arrive early.
